Start with the exact symptom and complete the checks in sequence. Do not repeat Run Setup until browser access and the provider session have been verified.
QUICK CHECK
Before changing anything.
These four checks solve most temporary failures without modifying the project.
- 01Confirm Windows has Internet access and the provider website opens normally.
- 02Confirm the intended bridge is licensed and selected in MIMETOR.
- 03Keep the provider browser open and verify the real login session.
- 04Read the latest status message before retrying the failed action.
SYMPTOMS AND SOLUTIONS
Use the matching recovery path.
Each procedure ends with a verification step. Restart MIMETOR only when the procedure explicitly asks for it.
01The browser does not open
Symptom
Launch Browser shows no window or returns to its initial state.
Likely cause
The browser process could not start, a previous instance is stuck, or Windows blocked the launch.
Solution
- Wait for the launch state to finish.
- Close only controlled-browser windows that remain stuck.
- Press Launch Browser once more.
- If it fails again, close MIMETOR, reopen it and retry.
Resolved when
The provider window appears and Cloud Brain reports an active browser.
02The provider page does not load
Symptom
The browser opens but remains blank, shows a network error, or never reaches ChatGPT/Qwen.
Likely cause
Unstable connection, network filtering, DNS, proxy, VPN, or a temporary provider outage.
Solution
- Confirm other secure websites load in Windows.
- Temporarily disable a VPN or proxy only if your policy allows it.
- Reload the provider page.
- Check the provider public status and retry after recovery.
Resolved when
The official page shows its login or conversation screen.
03No session is active or Verify Login fails
Symptom
MIMETOR reports no detected session even though the browser is open.
Likely cause
Authentication did not finish, the session expired, consent is pending, or another browser profile was opened.
Solution
- Return to the window launched by Cloud Brain.
- Complete any login, verification, or consent requested by the provider.
- Confirm the chat input is visible.
- Return to MIMETOR and press Verify Login.
Resolved when
Cloud Brain reports the session as authenticated.
04The bridge does not appear connected
Symptom
The session is verified, but the bridge remains off or unavailable.
Likely cause
The bridge is not covered by the local license, another provider is selected, or initial setup is incomplete.
Solution
- Open License and confirm that bridge is active on this device.
- Return to Cloud Brain and select the same provider.
- Verify the session again.
- Run Setup if the project is shown as incomplete.
Resolved when
The bridge card reports ready or active and the chat selector offers it.
05Initial setup does not finish
Symptom
Run Setup keeps loading, ends with an error, or does not confirm the project.
Likely cause
Invalid session, unexpected provider page state, a temporary service limit, or an interruption while uploading sources.
Solution
- Do not press Run Setup repeatedly.
- Confirm the provider page responds and Verify Login succeeds.
- Wait for any pending upload to finish.
- Run Setup once more.
- If it fails again, restart MIMETOR and begin again at Launch Browser.
Resolved when
Progress finishes successfully and the project is marked synchronized.
06The bridge stops responding during a task
Symptom
The chat remains waiting, receives no reply, or stops progressing after an action.
Likely cause
The provider is still generating, displayed an additional choice, lost connectivity, or the session became invalid.
Solution
- Check the provider window for a required choice or confirmation.
- Wait for an active response to finish.
- If it is stuck, reload the provider page.
- Verify the session again and resume from the MIMETOR chat.
Resolved when
Status returns to ready and the chat accepts new input.
07The wrong provider was selected
Symptom
The chat tries to use ChatGPT when Qwen was intended, or vice versa.
Likely cause
The chat kept its previous provider or single-bridge mode remains active.
Solution
- Check the provider name in the chat header.
- With Dual Cloud Brain, select it in that header.
- Without dual mode, open Cloud Brain and activate the correct bridge.
- Verify the new provider session before continuing.
Resolved when
The chat header shows the correct provider before sending.
08Dual Cloud Brain cannot be enabled
Symptom
The dual control is disabled or absent.
Likely cause
Dual Cloud Brain requires active licenses for both ChatGPT and Qwen bridges.
Solution
- Open License and check current coverage.
- Purchase and activate the missing bridge or the complete pack.
- Refresh license status.
- Return to Cloud Brain and enable dual mode.
Resolved when
Both bridges are active and the dual control becomes available.
09A button is disabled
Symptom
Launch Browser, Verify Login, Run Setup, or another bridge action cannot be pressed.
Likely cause
A previous requirement is missing, another operation is running, or the license does not cover the bridge.
Solution
- Read the status shown beside the bridge.
- Confirm the license and selected provider.
- Wait for the current operation to finish.
- Complete Launch Browser → Verify Login → Run Setup in order.
Resolved when
The required action becomes enabled when the previous requirement is confirmed.
10MIMETOR does not detect the real state
Symptom
The page appears accessible, but MIMETOR keeps an old or contradictory state.
Likely cause
The provider interface changed, the page only partially loaded, or the check ran too early.
Solution
- Wait for the page to finish loading.
- Reload the provider once.
- Press Verify Login again.
- If it persists, restart MIMETOR and reopen the controlled browser.
Resolved when
Cloud Brain status matches what is visible at the provider.
SUPPORT
Contact support after one complete recovery cycle.
Restart MIMETOR only after saving local work. If the same error returns after relaunching the provider, verifying login and retrying once, send support the provider name, visible error text, time of the failure and MIMETOR version. Never send passwords, session cookies or license keys.
